Qualification: Master's degree in Law with NET/SLET or Ph.D. for Assistant Professor, Ph.D. in Law/Law and Economics/Law and Public Policy for Post Doctoral Fellow.. A Master's degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in law from a recognised university.. Cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET OR awarded a Ph, D. Degree in accordance with UGC Regulations, 2009 or 2016.. Exemption from NET/SLET/SET for Ph.D. candidates registered prior to July 11, 2009, if Ph.D. awarded in regular mode, thesis evaluated by two external examiners, open viva voce conducted, and two research papers published from Ph.D. work (at least one in a refereed journal) and presented at least two papers in UGC/ICSSR/CSIR sponsored conferences.. Ph, D degree from a foreign university/institution with a ranking among the top 500 in World University Ranking (QS, THE, or ARWU).. Desirable: Interdisciplinary academic background or training, teaching experience at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels, record of scholarly research, professional or field experience..
