It’s who’s getting left out. While 2,111 slots go to general schools, only 350 are reserved for special education; kids with learning differences, disabilities, or unique needs. Then there’s the fine print: you need at least 50% in Intermediate (45% for reserved categories), a 2-year D.El.Ed or 4-year B.El.Ed, AND pass APTET or TSTET. That’s three filters before you even hit ‘apply’. The exam? Computer-based. The age limit? 18-44. The deadline? Early November. But here’s the quiet truth: most applicants won’t make it past the eligibility screen. This isn’t just a recruitment; it’s a gatekeeper. And if you’re serious, start checking your qualifications NOW. The real fight begins before the exam even starts.
