While we’re busy letting AI pick our clothes, groceries, and even spend money for us (72% would!), we’re also quietly terrified it’ll steal our jobs. In fact, 79% would give up 10%+ of their salary for a job safety guarantee; double the global average. Here’s the twist: India tops the world in trusting AI over friends, family, or social media when shopping (60% vs 32% globally). Yet, at work, we’re hiding our AI skills; 79% of daily users downplay them, fearing it’ll make them replaceable. And leadership? 45% of managers admit AI is now doing what junior employees used to learn on the job; a huge shift. Plus, 73% of employees have plugged sensitive company data into AI tools. Yikes. India also stands out for backing public AI investment; 39% would accept higher taxes for it. That’s the highest globally. The real story? We’re riding AI like a rocket; but no one’s checking if the seatbelt’s on. If you’re in a job that’s not future-proofed… maybe now’s the time to start. The AI train isn’t stopping; and it’s picking up speed.
