One Commissioner called it ‘illegal’. Another said it was ‘unauthorised’. And yet, it went ahead. If the CEC can override his colleagues on critical matters, what does that mean for the fairness of elections? The Supreme Court is now being asked to decide: who really runs the EC; one person… or three?
