Sounds surprising, right? But post-BRICS New Delhi Summit, experts are quietly excited. Why? Because both nations hold complementary strengths; India’s software talent, global services, and real-world problem-solving, paired with China’s hardware manufacturing, AI scale, and robotics muscle. Think elder care bots in Mumbai + smart factories in Shenzhen. The BRICS declaration explicitly backed AI governance & safety cooperation; a rare diplomatic nod to tech as a bridge, not battleground. No sharing of secret tech needed; just focused civilian dialogue. For job-seekers? This could mean a future wave of cross-border AI roles, joint research fellowships, and startup incubators blending Indian creativity with Chinese execution. The quiet shift? Tech isn’t just about competition anymore; it’s about co-creation. Especially for the Global South.
