Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s Coimbatore campus just handed over a major report to NITI Aayog — and it’s not about exams or placements.

It’s about 67 schools, 4.73 lakh students, and a nationwide record for tinkering innovation. Under ATL Sarthi, Amrita’s Innovation Council didn’t just mentor schools; they turned classrooms into creativity labs. From cybersecurity workshops to patent guidance, they’re building India’s next generation of problem-solvers. And yes, they broke two records in one day. This is what innovation looks like outside the IITs and NITs; right in your hometown. Government-backed, university-led, student-driven. If you’re a student dreaming of innovation, this is your signal to start tinkering. The future isn’t waiting; it’s being built in Coimbatore school halls.
