The film, released on Prime Video, just won India's Best Feature Film at the Asian Academy Creative Awards, beating out big names like Jackie Chan’s 'The Shadow Edge'. Kapoor himself is nominated for Best Actor; a nod to his intense portrayal of a retired soldier wrestling with injustice and fatherhood. What’s more surprising? This isn’t just another action flick. It’s layered, emotional, and built around a father-daughter bond that’s rarely seen this raw in Hindi cinema. At 67, Kapoor’s not just keeping up; he’s redefining what leading roles look like for older actors. Meanwhile, ‘The Family Man 3’ also cleaned up, winning 3 awards. The takeaway? Indian storytelling is going global; and it’s not waiting for Hollywood to notice.
