This one’s for teachers already in the system who never got their TET certification. If you’ve been teaching in Andhra Pradesh before 2011 and still don’t have a valid TET certificate, this is your chance. Applications opened on August 26; and close September 24. The exam itself runs from October 11 to 21. What’s unusual? It’s computer-based, divided into two papers based on which classes you teach. Paper I for primary (Classes I-V), Paper II for upper primary (VI-VIII). Some teachers may even need to take both if they want to move up. The biggest point? This is a safety net created by the state; a chance to formalize your position without starting over. But don’t wait; the window is short. And if you’ve misplaced old documents, now’s the time to dig them out. The last date to apply is just 30 days away.
