It’s a signal that government jobs in energy, refining, and sustainability are about to get way more interesting. This 5 MW plant in Bina, Madhya Pradesh, was built in just 15 months. It produces 2.15 tonnes of green hydrogen daily; powered entirely by renewables; and cuts 9,000 tonnes of CO2 every year. Why does this matter for job seekers? Because India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission is accelerating. Companies like BPCL are hiring engineers, project managers, sustainability analysts, and tech specialists to build the hydrogen economy. If you’re preparing for PSUs or government energy roles, this is your cue: green skills = future-proof careers. The award? It’s not just for BPCL; it’s a spotlight on where the next wave of public-sector opportunities is headed.
