Exporters are feeling the pinch — and it’s not just about higher interest rates.

FIEO just asked RBI to extend export credit deadlines from 270 to 450 days. Why? Because shipping delays, payment bottlenecks, and global chaos are stretching cash cycles beyond breaking point. For MSMEs operating on razor-thin margins, this isn’t bureaucracy; it’s survival. With repo rates ticking up and global demand shifting, the real battle isn’t just for market share; it’s for breathing room. If RBI listens, it could mean the difference between an order fulfilled… or a business folded.
