The NNQF and CTAN are demanding transparency in government jobs, especially after discovering that some contractual hires have lasted over a decade. What’s more shocking? The courts recently sided with them, ordering the state to stop extending these contracts beyond July 2027 and to finally advertise posts through proper channels like the NPSC. The real kicker? Some candidates are aging out of eligibility while waiting; their dreams buried under bureaucratic delays. And now, a new government order is allegedly crippling the very agencies meant to fix this; the NPSC and NSSB; by requiring Cabinet approval for every vacancy. It's not just about jobs anymore. It’s about fairness. It’s about the Constitution. And if the government doesn’t respond, CTAN warns; they’re ready to hit the streets. Because merit shouldn’t wait.
