At the UNGA Third Committee, India demanded an OHCHR probe into killings by Pakistani forces during protests in PoJK. Why now? Because unrest is rising, internet is blocked, and leaders of the Awami Action Committee are being detained without due process. India called out the UN body for 'double standards'; pointing out how the same organisations that question India are silent on Pakistan’s crackdown. This isn’t just diplomacy; it’s a targeted message: the world can’t ignore what’s happening in PoJK. The real question? Will the UN finally act; or keep looking away?
