India’s economy isn’t just growing — it’s quietly rebuilding its backbone.

And you might not have noticed, but the financial sector’s comeback is the real story behind this surge. Gross NPA? Down to 1.68%. Bank profits? Up. External risks? Handled. Shaktikanta Das, Principal Secretary-2 to PM, just revealed how reforms like the IBC and bank recapitalization turned India’s banking system from a liability into a growth engine. Meanwhile, Saurabh Garg shared that global agencies are now upgrading India’s growth forecasts; 7.8% in Q1 FY27; not because of luck, but because businesses are investing, profits are rising, and even global shocks like oil price spikes are being absorbed. The real takeaway? India’s economic strength isn’t flashy. It’s in the numbers that don’t make headlines; but are changing everything.
