While global investors chase flashy Silicon Valley firms, wealthy Indian families are backing local tech talent, betting that the next big AI breakthrough will come from Bengaluru, not Menlo Park. Why now? Because they see what others don’t; that India’s AI ecosystem is maturing fast. From healthcare to agriculture, local AI companies are solving problems no Silicon Valley app can. And family offices, often underestimated, are becoming quiet power players in this space. They’re not just writing checks. They’re offering mentorship, networks, and long-term patience; something VC firms often lack. This isn’t speculation. It’s strategy. And it could reshape India’s tech future from the inside out.
