They’re playing for legacy. The inaugural Commonwealth Kabaddi Championship in Ahmedabad could be the spark that finally gets kabaddi into the 2030 Commonwealth Games. With India facing Malaysia (women) and England (men) in their openers, the stakes are high; and the spotlight is brighter than ever. 23 teams, 62 matches, and a whole lot of pride on the line. This isn’t just sport; it’s strategy. Every tackle, every raid, every point scored is a message to the world: kabaddi belongs here. And if India wins? It might just change the game forever.
