The agitation, now over a year old, culminated in a showdown at Bhopal’s Roshanpura Square. Police detained several protesters after they tried marching to the CM’s residence. What’s really behind this? Candidates say the state government promised more posts during a January 2026 protest; but never followed through. The kicker? Madhya Pradesh has over 1.15 lakh sanctioned teaching positions. Yet, only 15,000 are up for recruitment. Why the gap? Aspirants aren’t fighting against guest teacher reservations; they just want the numbers to reflect actual need. And they’re not backing down until they get a written order. This isn't just about jobs; it’s about classrooms left empty, students left behind, and promises left broken. If you’re an aspirant or know someone who is; this one hits close to home.
