Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee have dropped a bombshell — alleging the Election Commission handed over 150 seats to the BJP through voter list deletions.

Yes, 150. That’s not a typo. At a fiery press conference, Abhishek claimed that in those seats, the number of deleted names (including ‘logical discrepancies’) was bigger than the winning margin. Which means; if those names hadn’t been struck off, the result might’ve flipped. Mamata didn’t hold back either. She called CEC Gyanesh Kumar ‘Vanish Kumar’; accusing him of making voters ‘vanish’ from lists. She even questioned the statutory immunity given to EC officers under the 2023 law. The big ask? Let the public see the full records. Independent scrutiny. Now. This isn’t just about one election. It’s about trust in the system. If voter deletion can swing 150 seats; what does that mean for the next one?
