RevRag.AI, an Indian startup building AI agents for banks and fintechs, just raised $2.5M to ditch third-party AI models and build its own.

Why? Because relying on others limits control; and in finance, control is everything. The team, which includes founders who worked at PhonePe and Razorpay, noticed one big pain point: onboarding customers is still a nightmare. Forms, verifications, re-entering details; users drop off. Their solution? AI-powered virtual relationship managers that guide users in real-time, in multiple languages, right inside apps. Now, they’re not just using AI; they’re building it. Target: 70% cost cuts for banks, $50M ARR by FY28, and a US launch. This isn’t just tech; it’s a quietly powerful shift in how financial services work.
