The slip isn’t just a formality; it tells you *where* you’ll sit for the 90-minute CBT with 100 questions (and yes, 1/3rd negative marking for wrong answers). What’s interesting? Over 6,000 tech roles; mostly Grade III, with 323 for Signal Techs; are up for grabs. And while the process sounds routine (CBT → DV → Medical), the cutoffs aren’t equal: UR/EWS need 40%, OBC/SC need 30%, ST just 25%. That’s strategic. Download your slip via your regional RRB site; login, click, print. Simple. But don’t skip this step. Your exam city could be 200 km away; better know now than panic later. This isn’t just another admit card. It’s your first move in a high-stakes game.
