The crisis isn’t just about comfort; it’s about equity, health, and the future of learning. As El Niño looms and temperatures climb, states like West Bengal are now racing to install fans in 81,000 schools. But fixing infrastructure won’t fix the root; we need climate plans that listen to children, not just thermometers. Because when kids can’t concentrate, learn, or even stay awake; the entire education system starts to crumble.
