With a £35k starting salary, a funded degree in criminology, and real community impact, they’re pitching policing as more than a job; it’s a calling. What’s interesting? They’re also reopening their Transferee Scheme, inviting experienced officers from elsewhere to “come home.” If you’ve ever considered public service but thought it meant sacrificing growth or pay, this might surprise you. And it’s not just for officers; call handlers and admin support roles are also opening soon. Think you’re not the 'type' to join the force? They’re actively looking for people from every background. Because the truth is; policing doesn’t need more uniformity. It needs more humanity. If you’ve got integrity, compassion, and a hunger to make change; this might be your moment. Applications are live. No fancy degree needed. Just heart.
