Over 1.97 lakh candidates made it to the PET/PST stage, but what’s catching everyone’s eye? The hidden category mismatch. Many candidates who applied under SC, ST, OBC, or EWS were marked as UR; not because they were ineligible, but because they crossed the UR cutoff. The SSC fixed this by releasing split-category lists. Why does it matter? Because your reservation category could still be valid; even if your cut-off was higher. If you’re on the list, don’t just skim your roll number. Check under which category you applied; and under which you were finally considered. The next round? Physical tests. No marks, no theory; just push-ups, runs, and height checks. If you cleared the written, don’t let the PET trip you up. Start training now. Also, 9.2% of 21.5 lakh+ candidates made it; that’s tough competition. If you’re in, you’re already ahead. Stay sharp. The real battle starts now. #SSCGD #SSCResult2026 #PETPST #GovernmentJobs #SSCUpdates
