The court pointed to countries like Chile and Israel; nations that slapped bold, coloured warning labels on junk food and saw real change. India, meanwhile, keeps saying “we can’t match global standards.” The court wasn’t having it. They’re giving the Centre two weeks to decide; or they’ll step in. Think about it: a single label on a biscuit pack could stop a child from developing diabetes before age 10. This isn’t bureaucracy. It’s life or death. And the real question isn’t about labels; it’s whether we’re serious about the future of our children.
