First, head to upsc.gov.in, go to ‘Examinations’ or ‘What’s New’, and click the CDS 2 Result 2026 link. Download the PDF and search for your roll number. No name; just roll numbers. Simple, right? But here’s the catch: passing the written test is only the first hurdle. Next up? The SSB interview; a 5-day grind that tests your mind, teamwork, and leadership under pressure. Think OIR tests, group tasks, PPDT, TAT, WAT, SRT; and yes, a personal interview that digs deep. Many get through the written exam. Few make it past SSB. So if you see your roll number on that PDF, don’t celebrate yet. Start preparing for the real test; the one that decides if you’re officer material. Pro tip: Save the result PDF. You’ll need it later. And if you’re not on the list? Don’t quit; analyze where you slipped, and come back stronger next time. The armed forces don’t just want smart minds; they want resilient ones.
