That’s right, candidates who were prepping for 1 November got an extra two months. For the 828 aspirants (124 Principals + 704 Vice Principals), this is both a gift and a test. More time to revise? Yes. But also more pressure to stay consistent. The exam is objective, 2 hours long, and covers everything from pedagogy to digital literacy. And here’s the kicker; negative marking applies (1/3rd per wrong answer). So guessing isn’t free. Also, SC/ST/PwBD candidates get a slight advantage; 40% minimum to qualify, vs 50% for general. And women? No application fee. Smart move, UPSC. If you’re one of the 828, don’t waste this buffer. Use it to master weak areas; especially Hindi/English language, reasoning, and educational policies. Centers are spread across 15 cities (Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai included), so travel plans matter. Final tip: Keep your admit card ready. Document verification + interview will follow; and you need to crack both. This isn’t just another exam. It’s a gateway to shaping Delhi’s education system. And you’ve got 75 days to rise to it. #UPSC2026 #PrincipalExam #VicePrincipal #GovernmentJobs #ExamPreparation
