The petitioners suspect these men may have been forced to sail into war zones; Strait of Hormuz, Red Sea, Black Sea; places no sane human would willingly go. Contracts? Nobody’s checked them yet. This isn’t just about three sailors. It’s about how we treat our seafarers; the invisible workforce powering global trade; and whether their lives are worth more than fine print and diplomatic shrugs.
