Roads near India Gate, Connaught Place, and Parliament Street turned into parking lots, with some drivers stuck for over an hour. Many ditched cars for the Metro or just walked. The protest? Over the special revision of voter lists; a move critics say could affect elections. But here’s the twist: even as Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi were stopped short of the EC office, officials insist the revision was unanimous. Chaos on roads. Tension in politics. All over voter rolls. Sounds boring? Ask anyone stuck in that traffic; it’s anything but.
